Currently obsessing over post-rock and electronica. Some of my favorite bands/artists in any respect are Bon Iver, M83, The xx, Britney Spears, Lana Del Rey, The Shins, Vampire Weekend, and Lady Gaga.May 2, 2013 at 5:38 AM #5450
1. I have no idea why I first posted this is in “Love” forum. Awkward.
2. You all have excellent taste! :) I’m a big fan of rap, indie and some country. I still believe in the radio too, which apparently is rare these days?May 6, 2013 at 3:40 PM #5602
I actually got into rap through college (pretty self-explanatory why) and now I love it! It’s great motivation for my runs, because it’s always upbeat and full of emotion and passion. One of my roommates is a “country girl,” so because I live with her I have grown to appreciate some country…but it’s usually just the popular, trendy country rather than actual soulful country.June 5, 2013 at 7:13 PM #7172
Current favorites are Vampire Weekend, Fleet Foxes, Blockhead, Beach House… Dissection, Belphegor, Amon Amarth, Bal Sagoth… My all-time favorite band has always been and probably always will be Radiohead. Atoms For Peace is pretty awesome, too, and so is Thom Yorke’s solo stuff. Nicola Benedetti has been my Pandora station while I play Dark Souls lately. As far as hip hop goes, People Under the Stairs, Jurassic Five, The Roots, Cunninlynguists, and The Herbaliser are all awesome.June 6, 2013 at 11:40 PM #7234
I’m a fan of a little bit of everything: Rock, Rap, Country. Name a genre and it’s probably somewhere on my ipod.June 7, 2013 at 6:22 PM #7316
pandora stations are the best!June 7, 2013 at 6:23 PM #7317
What are your guys’ favorite Pandora stations to listen to for various activities such as working out, studying and partying.June 7, 2013 at 7:09 PM #7320
I don’t really use Pandora, but I like it whenever I do. I just prefer to listen to my iPod. I like rock, alternative, pop… Pretty much anything as long as either the lyrics are good or the beat is fun.June 10, 2013 at 11:05 PM #7438

I like slow beats. Ambient electronica, downtempo techno, stuff like that. Something with a slow bass line or a slow, spacey melody. Freescha, Boards of Canada, Air, Aphex Twin, Casino Versus Japan, Caribou, Lotus, all so damn good.
